Agra Fort: Made up of red stone, Agra Fort is another famous monument in Agra. Initial construction of Agra Fort was started by Akbar in 1565. Sikandra Fort: Sikandra Fort is situated only 13 km from Agra Fort. It is known as the resting place of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. It was Akbar’s son Jahangir who later completed the construction of the tomb in 1613.
